Going global Technorati has an interesting chart in its "State of the Blogosphere" report. The percentage of posts in English has declined dramatically in the last year, from 44% to 31% of overall posts. This isn't because the English-speaking population is falling but because the blogosphere is rapidly going global. A larger percentage of blog activity is in Japanese than in English.

Also, the number one blog on the Technorati 100 list is now a Chinese blog written by Xu Jing Lei.
